Education Reform Resources
These first two resources got me thinking casually about my own education. Somewhere around the time I discovered them I made a mental note that I probably learned more about marketing from reading hundreds of articles a day than I did attending grad school. One was free, the other wasn’t.
TED Talks – Sir Ken Robinson: School’s Kill Creativity
Awhile later I watched this next video, and the light bulb went off. *Something* has to change.

I also read Daniel Pink’s “A Whole New Mind,” and Seth Godin’s “Linchpin
.”
That’s when I started asking smart peers how they felt about the current state of American education, which resulted in the following post:
What Do You Wish You Would’ve Learned in School
At which point I wrote about the fact that American education deserved better, which I hoped would fire up a discussion (#EduReform) and lead to a series of guest posts from people smarter than me about education reform.
Here’s some good stuff others have shared with me since I ‘officially’ began this journey. The person who shared it with me is credited in italics.
Life Lessons from Stephen Fry – (Rich Pulvino/Justin Kownacki)
No Right Brain Left Behind – (Rich Pulvino)
Pathways to Prosperity Report: Students Need More Paths To Career Success – (Michelle Bizon)
Let the Kids Rule the School -(Ryan Knapp)
In an effort to make this a comprehensive list of great resources on education reform (#EduReform), what else should I include?
