Grow Your Twitter Followers and Make Money Today
Stop whatever you’re doing and listen carefully.
Twitter is not a fad. It’s not going anywhere. It’s a great tool to build your brand and leverage that brand to generate a second income all from the comfort of your own home.
In fact, I’m in my pajamas right now. With footies.
Some people have beat me to the punch. I have no doubt you’ve seen the other Twitter products out there already, but that’s only because I’ve spent the extra man hours making sure I didn’t rush my product to market.
I’ve spent countless hours of research learning how mega stars like Ashton Kutcher, Kenny Powers and Sockington the Cat grew their followers, and now I’m prepared to share those secrets with you.
If you’ve already spent your money on Twitter Traffic Machine, Traffic 140, Twitter Rockstar and/or Brute Force Twitter fear not. My program will help you recover your lost costs in MINUTES.
What are you waiting for? Watch this 2:20 second video and start generating passive income RIGHT NOW.
The first person that watches this video and sends me an e-mail asking for this once and a lifetime Twitter Ebook will promptly get punched in the face.

@Nisha – The thing that bothers me most is that if all you’re doing is going for a ridiculous # of followers, haven’t you already lost the point?
Derek Halpern at Prevential got nearly 35K hits on a blog post from a link on Twitter when he only had 300 followers. Those followers were influencers that he had built relationships with, and their re-tweets had a very wide reach.

Haha, nice silly video and agree people should be happy with the value they get out of Twitter instead of hoping to get rich from it.
On a somewhat related note, what did you think about Land Rover paying select influential Twitter users to use Land Rover wallpaper in their profiles?
I think it sort of takes away from the whole word of mouth marketing since people know it’s paid for. Also, I’m not sure if it does much since so many people use apps like Tweet Deck. Either way, it’ll be interesting to see if companies in the future try to buy space on Twitter like this.

@Jackie – Eh. I guess my feeling is who is going to buy a landrover based on a Twitter background. There can’t be any live links to go other places for more information in a background.
I try to fall into the camp of, “With social media, you make your own rules,” and I don’t know how much they paid, but I don’t know that I see it as a worthwhile expense.
Your point about 3rd party apps is also a very valid one. There’s already services like Magpie where every nth tweet is an add and you earn money when people click on your links.
I hope Twitter doesn’t get over saturated with people looking for ways to “make money,” though I suspect it might.

I wish I could afford a tie!
Seriously though, why do you own a cherry jolly rancher chapstick? I just lost so much respect for you as a blogger.

@Charlie – I was waiting for someone to call me out on that. I suspect it wouldn’t have happened by anyone but you, but I sent the video to one of my “real-life” friends on gchat and he called me out before the video was over.
It was my ex-girlfriend’s and some how got mixed up in my stuff when I moved out to NC.

@Jake – As long as you’re paying for lunch with the money you expect to earn from the ebook.

Um, excuse me…There’s no writing whatsoever on that pink piece of paper. SUCH a scam; forget your zero-back guarantee…I want a refund.
Nicely done, Ryan. I don’t understand why (how?) people can use Twitter solely to generate income, especially as it’s a communications tool. Build your brand to build your business? Yes, I can understand that method of thinking as long as it’s still forming connections, building relationships. But what some people are doing is playing a numbers game, and that seems to miss the point completely.
I still want my refund.

@Susan – Twitter is a great tool that can be very useful, and who am I to judge how someone uses it? That said, personally I want to build genuine connections with people that will foster long-term relationships where both parties can benefit.
If I get a client because of my communications and value that I provide via Twitter, GREAT, but I’m not going to try and convince someone that having 100,000 followers (and getting them in an inauthentic way) is the route to go.

Nice Ryan – and I agree with the overall point here that if you’re out there with the goal of ‘getting as many followers as possible’ – you are really missing the overall point of social networking – they put the word NETWORKING in there for a reason, and if you’re ‘follower gathering’ there’s no way you can be networking.
That being said, I don’t think you have to limit yourself and say, “I’m only going to follow 200 of my BEST followers” – I think that’s stifling the potential connections that can be made (this was the point of my recent post on Twitter Philosophy). Maintain you current connections, but reach out and GRADUALLY grow your community. As with everything, it’s all about balance.

@Matt – Excellent points and additions to this vlog Matt. As I always emphasize, there’s not necessarily a RIGHT way to do it, and I go back and forth. I won’t pretend like following 3,000K is scalable, but I genuinely want to connect with those people (even as loose ties) b/c they provided me with value.
BUT, that said, sometimes I do want to just follow 200 or so, and then reach out to others via @replies, but not necessarily follow. Sometimes all the noise is overwhelming.
Also, don’t ever feel shy about posting your links here provided they’re relevant to the discussion. Here’s the post Matt’s referencing for those who are interested –> Changing My Twilosophy
