@Connie

I have been hearing such good things about you from Dan Schawbel it was only a matter of time that I got acquainted with your work.

Well since BOTH of you are requesting Tribal experiences and I have a tough time turning down influential women, I will try and think of something to blog about in the near future.

@Valeria – Well you’ve certainly given me some things to think about eh? Though, I suspect facilitating conversation and connection people with ideas comes as easy to you as the language of baseball comes to me.

1.) Let me put some more thought into the online tools. Certainly there are plenty out there that are capable of facilitating community building, but I don’t want to simplify my response and risk stagnating the conversation before it starts.

2.) You hear a lot of the same things with respect to digital marketing. Everyone is telling you to “join the conversation,” and it’s certainly true, but there’s more to it than that. It’s about collaboration. If customers are participating in the conversation and helping to co-develop ideas, doesn’t the content become more sustainable? Isn’t a deeper relationship forged?

David Armano of Logic+Emotion fame, wrote “Why Digital Marketing Needs a Reboot,” only a few days ago. I found it, and the conversation surrounding it rather interesting: http://adage.com/digitalnext/post?article_id=129897

3.) I would like to post about my Triiibes experience; however, I know that the community is private and rather hush hush (or at least that’s the illusion of scarcity Seth wants to display) so out of respect for that, I may refrain from posting about it. I’d rather not post something vague and disconnected, but if I think I can do it justice I’ll certainly consider it.

Right now it’s a somewhat overwhelming experience because there’s countless people trying to make connections and create/lead projects, yet without much of a formal structure. It feels somewhat haphzard right now amongst the early adopters. Any particular suggestions, aspects you’d be interested in Valeria ?

Thanks for giving me some things to think about and I apologize if I haven’t furthered the conversation in the way you may have anticipated, but I certainly appreciate your contribution to the thread, and I really enjoy your content over at Conversation Agent!!

Thank you for linking to my posts, Ryan. And it's nice to meet you! I'm always pleased to meet proponents of community.

I'm curious about your experience with the Triibes project too. Do tell!

Thank you for spreading the word on all of these excellent posts, Ryan. I would be interested in your take on up and coming uses for online tools that would benefit the growing dynamics of community building. Where is digital marketing going next? Will you be posting about your experience with Triibes?
