Why I Should Be Seth Godin’s Summer Intern
My thirst for marketing knowledge is absolutely insatiable. There’s no other way to put it. That’s why I am making this post at 2:37 am during a week when I haven’t had more than 6 hours of sleep yet. I start reading about something that fascinates me, and I just can’t stop.
Anyway, so I was updating my Squidoo Lens and I started looking at other lenses to emulate in order to improve my own. Well, naturally I ended up checking out the founder of Squidoo, Seth Godin’s lenses. I stumbled onto This lens about Seth Godin’s summer intern gig.
Well, I couldn’t think of a better opportunity to learn about marketing. Seth is one of the world’s foremost entrepreneurs and it is foolish to not take the time and effort to apply for his internship. Since Seth created Squidoo, and I am certain he probably appreciates people thinking outside the box and being innovative, I decided I would create my own Squidoo Lens highlighting why I should be his summer intern.
Please take the chance to check out the lens and let me know what you think about it. Do I stand a chance? This is obviously something that is going to be extremely competitive. It’s the only internship, regardless of monetary compensation, that I would consider turning down the current internship I’m planning on doing this summer.
