Why Social Media “Scenes” Should Cease to Exist

July
Are you a member of your city’s “social media scene?” Do you regularly attend social media breakfasts?
The reason you shouldn’t be a part of these “scenes” has nothing to do with the value you’re receiving by being involved and everything to do with the fact that social is ubiquitous now. It should be an integral part of the way your company communicates with it’s fans/customers/patients/employees, etc.
Social technologies have fundamentally changed people’s expectations of how a brand should communicate with them and you need to get on board YESTERDAY. Give it a watch and let me know what you think.
Do you agree? Did I miss the mark on this one? I want to hear from you in the comments section.
